Remodeling spaces in a remote renovation

Casa CG

Casa CG is a project entrusted to us by a couple living in Milan, who were specifically looking for remote renovation services. They found us online, and after reading the reviews on CN Group, they decided to contact us and later entrust us with the project. In addition to a few in-person meetings, the renovation of Casa CG was also carried out remotely, with constant and fruitful updates and full customer satisfaction.

We create a complete bathroom

Total Renovation

Casa CG is a family apartment and is therefore characterized by a sentimental bond. It is located in the popular San Giacomo district and enjoys a beautiful sea view from the side that stretches from the port to Muggia. The apartment has many windows and is distinguished by good exposure, making it very bright.

The owners decided to completely renovate it and use it as a second home, changing the layout of the spaces, in particular by adding a bathroom.

Based on these requests, the project and the process of the changes were overseen by our architect Enrico Leghissa and the engineer from our team.

Demolition of a load-bearing wall

The main request from the clients was to create a complete bathroom, as originally there was only a toilet in the entrance area.

We had to reconfigure all the spaces: we created the bathroom from the kitchen, which was moved to an open living area with a living room and kitchen.

To create the living area and the new bathroom, we demolished a continuous load-bearing wall and inserted a painted iron beam in satin anthracite color.

The two bathrooms

The new bathroom, created from the kitchen, is complete with a niche shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. Since it is windowless with forced ventilation, we created a glass window above the door to bring in natural light.

The small windowed toilet at the entrance has also been renovated, with the addition of a small sink that made it much more functional.

Floors

The existing wooden floor in the bedrooms was salvaged by our parquet specialist, who restored it to new.

The SPC wood-effect floors in the corridor, living area, and bathrooms were purchased from Zanutta Trieste, along with the bathroom fixtures and furniture.

After the renovation of the building’s facades, the investment further increased its value.
